Purity will always conquer.

The noble stock of this family sprang in France, but it is in England it has most flowered. Armand Malfoy came to this land with the army of the Conqueror, and was granted his fine estate in Wiltshire, which has been the seat of the Malfoys for ten centuries, and has flourished with the noble house.

Eminent among this long, pure and unbroken line are Nicholas Malfoy (fl. 1300s), Septimus Malfoy, who was a distinguished friend of Minister for Magic Unctuous Osbert, and Abraxas Malfoy, as zealous a defender of the old ways as his distinguished forbears.

Lucius Malfoy II (his predecessor fl. 1560-1600s), son of the above Abraxas, is at present the head of this ancient house, and, by his wife Narcissa (nata Black) has sired a son, Draco.
